Working on Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie

Robbie Rist have admitted to being a huge fan of James Rolfe and his popular webshow The Angry Video Game Nerd. He was first exposed to Rolfe and the AVGN character through the comedic review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III that Rolfe made in character as the Nerd. A friend of Rist had sent him the link to the video on YouTube and told him to check it out. It was one of the most hilarious things Rist had seen in his life, so when Rolfe approached Rist about having the role as the alien in his feature film based on the popular webshow, he immediately agreed to it and they recorded all the lines the same day.
