Nerd Room

The Nerd Room is the Nerd's gaming room where he reviews all the bad games. So far, there have been three Nerd Rooms.

The Original Nerd Room (May 2004? - January 2007)

Duration: The Karate Kid - Bible Games
The original Nerd Room appeared to be Rolfe's living room in his old apartment. He had an old TV set, and a very small game collection. The Nintendo Power posters were spread around his entire apartment, (as seen in the Friday the 13th Episode) yet, he seemed to have had a large movie collection. The last known episode of this room was the Bible Games episode. A month later, there was a secret documentary made in January 2007, entitled "What was I thinking?" which still shows this nerd room. This private documentary was not released to the public until November 2007, on the AVGN Volume 1 DVD.

The Second Nerd Room (January 2007 - June 2008)

Duration: TMNT 3 - Superman 64

This Nerd Room was the next massive increasement of Rolfe's game collection. The first new addition, was the massive Nerd TV, and the Nerd shelf. He also had his computer in the same room. It had white walls with posters everywhere. The posters gradually changed over time, as more and more games were added to the collection. Rolfe began to use beer boxes to stack up his new games, until it reached the ceiling. He then began to explain in a tour of the room on the Volume 2 DVD, "that it got very ridiculous looking at the end," and "will be using a new nerd room" for more room with new games. The last episode of this room, was the Superman 64 episode. This episode showed a sneak peek of the new nerd room, while the Nerd played the Commodore 64.

The Third Nerd Room

Duration: Superman 64 - Present

The current Nerd room is in the Nerd's basement in his new home in Philidelphia. It has boxes, games and consoles everywhere. He has wall mounted shelves and a huge NES shelf with just about every Nintendo game on it. He has an Atari shelf as well. It's also where the AVGN vs. The Nostalgia Critic: The Final Battle took place.
