Capcom is a Japanese video game company. Since being established in 1979, they have been responsible for creating many of the most iconic video game series of all time including Mega Man, Resident Evil, and Street Fighter, and have continued to be a major developer and publisher into the 21st century.

In general, the Nerd has a positive view of Capcom, citing several of their games as being some of the best for their genre and era. However, their vast catalog of games and habit of licensing their series out to other developers has led to them being featured less positively in several episodes, especially as the show has continued.
