First of all, thanks to all the helpful anonymous contributors who've edited the wiki. Whether it was spelling mistakes, factual errors, or putting Transcripts together, you've really made a huge difference in the quality of the work here.
Unfortunately, some recent issues have forced my hand to turn anonymous contributions off. There's a lot of things I need to do with the wiki: make it mobile-friendly, fill the community to-do list, get up-to-date on the latest changes to Wikia itself, a whole fuckton of stuff. The bottom line is that it's consuming too much of my time to deal with a tiny, sad minority of children who've been abusing the privilege of anonymity. For that reason, I've had to revoke that privilege for everyone, so that I'm able to focus on what's really important.
To those anonymous contributors who have been an excellent part of the community, I would very much still like to have your help. Please consider signing up for a Wikia account, not only will it allow you to continue contributing here, but it would make it easier for everyone to collaborate on their edits, facilitate organization and improve communication.
Hopefully, once the site has been brought into the current century, I'll be in a position to turn the anonymous contributions back on. If you don't like the decision I've made, I'm with you, I don't like it either. The best thing everyone could do to bring anonymous contributions back is to sign up and help me get this fixer-upper of a wiki into fucking awesome shape. I'll be populating the To-Do list in the coming weeks, so everyone will have an idea of what needs to be done.
Take care and feel free to leave a comment.
