Season 1 is a first season of the The Angry Video Game Nerd series. It was also first known as the Bad NES Games for the first two pilot episodes and The Angry Nintendo Nerd for the rest except the last three episodes. It consists of seventeen episodes in total.

The first 2 pilot episodes lasted for 15 minutes and 57 seconds from 2004, but the rest of 15 episodes from 2006 lasted for 2 hours 1 minute and 32 seconds.

The full season of the episode has uncensored version which is uploaded on June 25, 2015, lasted for 2 hours 1 minute and 32 seconds, it does not have two pilot episodes in the video. But the censored version which is uploaded on December 1, 2023, lasted for 2 hours 11 minutes and 57 seconds, it has only Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde pilot episode.
